As part of the modernisation of its services and in order to improve the security and transparency of transactions, the Belgian Embassy in Abidjan wishes to inform the public that, with effect from Friday 1 May 2026, a ‘No Cash’ policy will be implemented.
From now on, all payments must be made via:
• Mobile Money (Orange Money and Wave)
• Bank card

Cash payments will no longer be accepted. We therefore invite you to make the necessary arrangements before your visit. For any further information, our team remains at your disposal.
